Laser Sporting is a super fun and rapidly growing sporting activity across the world. Its a great way to exercise both mind and body in a fun, team oriented environment. Laser Sports are suitable for all ages 8 and over and helps to develop fitness, hand to eye coordination, team work & communication skills.

Laserzone Brisbane is at the forefront of Laser Sporting in Australia, offering Leagues for all skill levels, and boasting some of Australia’s top players who can assist you in developing your Laser Tag skills. Laserzone Brisbane has been running Leagues for over 10 years, and has a reputation across Australia for running professional, fun and well organised competitions.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Laser Sports are suitable for all ages 8 and over. We run several Leagues, so you can find the one that suits your age bracket or skill level.

JUNIOR LEAGUE – ALL LEVELS – AGES 8 TO 14

Junior League is perfect for ages 8 to 14 and is a young players first step in to the world of Laser Sporting. Junior League runs on Wednesdays during school term from 4pm-6pm. The first week is FREE to try, and the ongoing cost is only $12 per week. If you have a child that does not like traditional sports, then you should definitely bring them down to try Junior League. Laser Sports is perfect for getting kids off the couch, getting active and socialising with other young enthusiasts. Check out our Junior League page for more information.

SENIOR LEAGUE – ALL LEVELS – AGE 13+

Senior League is for ages 13 and over, and is a long running League with players of all skill levels. The first week is FREE to try, and the ongoing cost is only $17 per week ($15 for ages 16/u). You can join with friends or by yourself.  Our advanced handicapping system ensures that teams of varying skill levels can compete on an equal playing field. You are welcome to join by yourself, with a friend or 2, or as a full team of 5. Previous experience has shown that full teams of 5 who intend to play together develop quicker by splitting in their first season or 2, so that they can be shown the ropes by a couple of experienced players, and then re-forming once they are a little more experienced.

With Laser League there is a learning curve, but it is pretty short. Within 4 weeks you will be able to hold your own, know which positions to take, and be starting to get a handle on some of the communication skills. When you start, we have a special offer of $30 total for your first 4 weeks. This special offer is designed to help you make it through the initial learning curve.

The tournament administrators and senior players are available thoroughout the season and offer special training to show new players all the tricks and techniques of the game. If you are keen to improve your game, there will be plenty of opportunities.

Yes, Laser Tag has a regional association that administers tournaments between the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane sites. The blue ribbon event is the 5 man teams, North v South event. Side events include Doubles, Triples and Solo’s events. Side events are a perfect stepping stone to playing at the regional teams level.

Australia has the healthiest Laser Sporting community in the world. Each year we host a Laser Tag tournament that averages over 30 teams from around Australia and New Zealand, the Zone Laser Tag Australasian Championships. In March 2016 Laserzone Brisbane hosted the Australasian Titles for the first time. If you ever wanted to train a Laser Tag team to play amongst the best, here is your chance!

Laser Tag is a sport that is played competitevly on a world scale. In 2014 the Zone Laser Tag World Titles was played at Laserzone Sunshine Coast. During the event, supporters crowd funded a documentary that gives a behind the scenes look in to the Laser Tag World Titles. Check it out here
